Sited along Smith Creek at the Jenkins Gap trailhead to the Appalachian, this design study was centered on creating an overnight getaway for urban weekenders and thru-hikers alike, with comfy modernity that channels the vibe of A.T. huts and shelters found up and down the Blue Ridge.
