Commissioned by the Thomas Jefferson Foundation (ownership of Monticello), this conceptual design study explored a vision for adaptive reuse and expansion of existing facilities into a mountaintop retreat center, with co-location to an existing events venue.  Strong connections to nature within nearly 360 degrees of viewshed characterize a corporate getaway intended to “recharge the soul”.
